Methodology
We teach cricket the traditional way — technique first. A player learns the grip, stance, footwork and action properly before being asked to play at pace, because a sound method is what holds up under pressure. That technical base is the same in every SCA programme.
Grip, stance, footwork and action are built correctly before speed and power are added, so the method holds up when the game gets harder.
Net work moves into match scenarios — set fields, targets, pressure overs — so a skill learned in practice is one the player can use on the day.
Coaches correct players as they train and explain the reason for each change. In One-to-One and Elite work, video lets the player see it too.
Strength, agility and endurance are trained for the demands of batting, bowling and fielding, led by the academy’s Fitness Head Trainer.
Through its club and company associations, SCA helps players who are ready find competitive matches and selection tournaments.
What each programme includes
Every programme is built on the same technical foundation. What sits on top of it depends on the programme.

Coaching team
SCA’s coaches and fitness trainers work with players directly in every session. The door is open: players and parents can talk to the coaches about progress at any time, and feedback is specific — what to change, and why.
